"My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's several years ago, which makes it increasingly hard to move. He also has had trouble sleeping because of sciatica, and has often resorted to trying to sleep on a couch or office chair. We already have a Monte chair at home that we purchased when we were expecting a baby. We've loved it so much that we decided to purchase this one for my dad because of its comfort, swiveling capabilities, and electronic reclining mechanism. The reclining mechanism has been a relief for my dad because he can adjust the angle without exerting much muscle, and the microfiber fabric is grippy enough to help him push off on the chair when he needs to get up from it. The recliner is currently on hardwood floors, and it stays in place when my dad (~140 pounds) gets up and sits down. The chair also holds a charge for many weeks, allowing us to keep the area around the chair free of cables for many months at a time. Overall, we strongly recommend this recliner!!"
